MAT-SU Veterans Foundation - Scholarships

The Mat-Su Veterans Foundation was founded to honor America’s military personnel and veterans by fostering patriotism, providing charitable services, secure rights and benefits for Alaskan military service members, veterans, disabled veterans, their families, and the community. To contribute to the continuing improvement of our communities, we are offering two $3,500 scholarship opportunities to an Alaskan high school graduate or equivalent who needs assistance. The scholarships will be offered to full-time students who reside in the Mat-Su area.

This year’s Scholarships are in the names of the following Veterans:

The Corporal David E. Tweden, United States Marine Corp, Memorial Scholarship
The Sargeant Major Calvin L. Harvey, United States Marine Corp, Memorial Scholarship
